این بنیاد به افتخار مرحومه خانم افشید انورخواه نامگذاری شده است، فردی که زندگی خود را وقف امور خیریه کرد و با اشتیاق از آموزش رایگان برای همه حمایت می‌کرد.

هدف این بنیاد، فراهم کردن آموزش رایگان و در دسترس برای همه افراد، بدون توجه به پیشینه اجتماعی، قومی یا تحصیلی آنها است. با ترویج فراگیری و برابری، این بنیاد تلاش می‌کند تا افراد را توانمند سازد و فرصت‌هایی برای آینده‌ای روشن‌تر و عادلانه‌تر ایجاد کند.

This Foundation is named in honor of the late Mrs. Afshid Anvarkhah, a devoted philanthropist who dedicated her life to charitable work and passionately championed the cause of free education for all.

The Foundation's mission is to ensure that education remains free and accessible to everyone, regardless of their social, ethnic, or educational backgrounds. By fostering inclusivity and equality, the Foundation strives to empower individuals and create opportunities for a brighter, more equitable future.

Currently, the Foundation supports several notable charities, including Darolekram Charity, Mehr Mandeghar, MehrAfarin, and the Emam Ali Institute, among others. Through these collaborations, the Foundation continues to extend its reach and impact, bringing positive change to countless lives.

On 23 November 2021, the world lost a remarkable soul. Afshid Anvarkhah, a devoted mother, a beacon of generosity, and a selfless force for good, left this world—but her memory continues to touch the lives of many who were fortunate to know her.

Afshid was more than a mother; she was a guiding light in her family, a source of strength, and an endless reservoir of love. Her devotion to her loved ones knew no bounds, and she approached life with an unwavering commitment to nurturing those around her.
